Nicole Butler, Co-CEO and Executive Producer at Pier 21 Films brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and producing some of Canada’s best-known scripted and unscripted projects. Combining creativity and financial acumen, Nicole oversees all new project development, provides leadership in production, and business and financial direction for Pier
21 Films.

Nicole held senior roles including Head of Business Affairs and Vice President of Production with Barna-Alper and eOne working on hundreds of hours of production including Call Me Fitz, Mega Builders, Men With Brooms, Dallaire, Almost Heroes, and Frontiers of Construction.

Nicole has freelanced as a series producer, line producer and consulting producer on unscripted series for RTR Media and Blue Ant Media, was Producer of 3 seasons of The Beaverton (CTV) - a satirical news program blending live audience studio production and pre-filmed field segments. Currently she is an Executive Producer on all Pier 21 projects including the comedic scripted series Late Bloomer (CRAVE), three seasons of Run the Burbs, (CBC/CW/HULU) and Don’t Even (CRAVE/APTN).
