Jimmy Holcomb is Vice President of Production at Hallmark Media. He is based in Los Angeles and reports to Senior Vice President of Physical Production, Randall Pope. Holcomb oversees the physical production of MOWs, series, and specials for Hallmark Media’s broadcast channels Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama, along with SVOD channel Hallmark Movies Now.
He has created new ventures for Hallmark Media throughout the world through international co-productions, international co-treaties and CANCON agreements with countries like Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, and more. Holcomb’s projects for the Hallmark Channel include period piece The Watsons Go to Birmingham, which was financed by Walden Media. Prior to Hallmark Media, Holcomb produced The Informer, a thriller film starring Joel Kinnaman, Clive Owen, Rosamund Pike and Common; The Belko Experiment, an MGM feature written and produced by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn; and The Power of the Few, an indie crime thriller starring Christian Slater, Christopher Walken, and Anthony Anderson.
Previously, Holcomb served as the chief operating officer of The Documentary Channel (Pivot TV), where he produced and acquired over 200 hours of programming content per year. While at The Documentary Channel, he received an Emmy Award for Best Documentary (Shake Hands with the Devil). Holcomb also holds experience in large-format projects, including producing Our Country, an IMAX event featuring country stars Dolly Parton, Lyle Lovett, Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, and many more.
Holcomb is a member of the Producers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, and the Academy of Television Arts and Science. He received a degree in Television and Film from Auburn University.
