As Vice President of Current Scripted Programming for Entertainment One, Darren Giblin oversees all creative across the studio’s wide-ranging slate of on-air and in-production scripted programs.  Past and present series under Darren’s supervision include Sheri Elwood’s CSA Nominated dramedy Moonshine (CBC/The CW), legal drama Burden of Truth (CBC/The CW), medical procedural Nurses (Global/NBC), global smash Private Eyes (Global/ION), CSA winning drama Mary Kills People (Global/Lifetime), Emmy nominated drama Cardinal (CTV/Hulu), Frank Spotnitz’s Budapest shot procedural RANSOM (Global/CBS) and the prime time dramatic procedural The Spencer Sisters (CTV/The CW).


Prior to joining eOne, Darren served as Director of Current Programming & Development for Downton Abbey Producer NBCUniversal International in London where he worked across several genres, formats and markets. In addition to developing an array of original scripted series with top British talent, projects on Darren’s production slate included the Emmy and BAFTA-winning Australian YA series Nowhere Boys (ABC3), long-running crime procedural Motive (CTV/ABC), international Co-Production Camp (NBC), and BAFTA-winning Made in Chelsea (E4/Bravo), to name a few.
