Born and raised in suburbia Toronto, Ilana graduated with a BA Honours in Film and Drama from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. In 2008, after seven years working in production, Ilana settled into the comfort and success of the Jennifer Hollyer Agency, one of Canada’s top literary agencies, becoming a partner in 2015. Whether it’s selling a television series to a network or helping clients land their first job, Ilana thrives in the unpredictable nature of the job and gets immense satisfaction helping people realize their dreams. Ilana brings her experience, critical mind, and remarkable winning streak at Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture Edition to every aspect of her job. She’s honoured to represent those from marginal communities and give those a voice who have otherwise felt silenced.
When she’s not at work Ilana can be found travelling the world, walking her dog, or watching tennis, her all time favourite spectator’s sport.
