Rutsky joined Netflix from Hulu in 2018 and manages the streamer's Nonfiction co-production strategy, where he collaborates with networks and producers around the globe. He has reinvented the co-production business into a hybrid model that combines business savvy, great relationships with producers, and strong creative involvement. In shaping and guiding the creative aspects of his projects, he has been able to achieve great wins for Nonfiction across a broad range of categories, including global hits like Down To Earth with Zac Efron, Blown Away, and The Last Dance, one of the biggest Nonfiction series on Netflix ever. He’s branched out over the past few years to focus on commissioned titles including Selling Sunset, Selling The O.C, and recent mixology competition series Drink Masters.
