BANFF, with key industry partners, delivers direct support to Canadian creatives and businesses through a series of initiatives and fellowships including:

Indigenous Screen Summit - Pitch Forum provides 15 Indigenous producers/creators an opportunity to pitch their projects at a mainstage event in front of Canadian and international buyers and an industry audience;

Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative is a market-access program for up to 100 Canadian producers/creatives who self-identify as Indigenous, Francophone, Black, People of Colour and persons with disabilities;

BANFF Spark Accelerator for Women in the Business of Media provides up to 100 women entrepreneurs in the screen-based industry an opportunity to attend BANFF, virtual workshops, and access to top-tier networking opportunities;

Canada-France Series Lab - (part of a Series Mania joint venture) that facilitates the development of new co-productions between Canada and France, and

The Jean-Marc Vallée bursary offers a Québec-based director a cash prize, and an opportunity to attend the Festival and showcase their work.
