Julia is a producer and head of fiction at Trio Orange. Known for her knack for discovering unique and authentic stories, her accomplishments include producing three seasons of M’entends-tu? / Can You Hear Me? (Netflix, TQ, Illico, Tou.tv,) which won Best Comedy at the Séries Mania Festival and Best Drama Series (non-English language) at the Banff Rockie Awards. She just launched Le temps des framboises / Last Summers of the Raspberries (Berlinale, Séries Mania) by the same author and directed by Oscar nominee Philippe Falardeau and La maison des folles, le règne / Home Turf : Sisterhood by Mara Joly. On the international level, Julia creates partnerships between coproducters. Due to her strong presence in festivals, she has been invited to participate in the Diversity, equity and inclusion panel at the C2 Content London in 2019. Julia is also involved in the television industry by sitting on the board of directors of the Quebec’s division of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Julia works closely with the authors, she believes in the importance of developing projects which are authentic, diverse, hold universal values which can spark the interest and imagination of Canadians but that can also compete on an international level.
