Krista Look is the Director of Original Women and Lifestyle Content for Corus Entertainment in Toronto. In this role, she is responsible for steering the original linear and digital content strategies and slates for networks including HGTV Canada, Food Network Canada, W Network and Slice.
A born leader with razor-sharp instincts for creating crowd-pleasing content and discovering fresh on-air talent, Krista has spent her career nurturing deep, meaningful relationships in the worlds of food, media and design. Her end goal is to generate relevant content for the widest possible audience while satisfying sponsor, digital and social media needs.
Prior to joining Corus as a broadcaster in 2015, Krista spent 22 years overseeing the production of top-tier lifestyle and reality content for Canada’s premier networks. As a producer, director, writer and food/design expert, Krista has spearheaded over 1,000 half-hours and 500 hours of field- and studio-based storytelling. She has been a member of the independent production community, heading up of her production company, Look Entertainment, as well an Executive Producer for CBC, Canada’s public broadcaster, and the driving force behind some of Canada’s strongest lifestyle brands.
From interpreting international formats like MasterChef for the Canadian market to creating over a dozen original concepts, like talk show Steven and Chris, daily food series Best Recipes Ever and the Food Network Canada nightly flagship show Christine Cushing Live, Krista’s versatility and notoriously boundless energy have made her an industry leader.
