Cameron Boyce returns as Carlos, the tech-savvy teenage son of Cruella de Vil, in the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie sequel "Descendants 2." Now instilled with a burgeoning sense of self-confidence from his new life on Auradon, Carlos has left his wicked ways behind him along with his fear of dogs. With his fellow villain kids and his buddy Dude the dog by his side, he is ready to step up and take on another epic adventure.

Boyce is also known for his roles in Disney XD's "Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything" and Disney Channel's "Jessie."  Boyce has also appeared on Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" and "Good Luck Charlie," as well as "General Hospital, Night Shift." He began a modeling career at the age of seven, appearing in the Disney Store catalog, and has since been featured in print advertorials for Garnett Hill, Wilsons Leather, Jaxx Pacific, Nestle and K-Mart, as well as appeared in more than 20 commercials.

His feature film credits include the Adam Sandler feature films "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2," "Mirrors," "Eagle Eye" and "Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer."

Born May 28, 1999, dancing has always been a huge passion of Boyce. He is accomplished and trained in many styles, including hip-hop, modern, jazz, tap and ballet, his favorite being breaking. Alongside his four friends, he is a member of the dance crew "X Mob." Boyce was featured dancing in a royal wedding tribute on ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars." He also appeared in music videos for "That Green Gentleman" by Panic at the Disco, Ice Cube's "Ya'll Know Who I Am" and Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair."

Boyce resides in Los Angeles with his mom, dad, younger sister and dog Cienna. When he is not acting or dancing, he enjoys designing his own shirts and caps and riding his classic Schwinn Sting Ray.

At the Banff Media Festival, we met with Netflix and took a ride up Sulphur Mountain on the gondola. That’s where we made the pitch.
